These notes are compiled from Arlington County Police Department crime reports. They cover the reports in and around the Buckingham, Arlington Forest and Ashton Heights neighborhoods. --ST
Sept. 11: Burglary, 5300 block of N. 1st Place. Between 7:45a.m. and 6:30p.m., an unknown subject broke into a residence and stole a laptop computer. There is no suspect description.
Sept. 17: Exposure, 2800 block of Washington Blvd. At 7:30p.m. a woman was running when she saw an unknown man expose himself. She reported the incident when she returned home. The suspect is a young white Hispanic male, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a white undershirt and had black hair.
Sept. 21: Assault and Battery (Arrest), 1100 block of N. Highland St. At 11:45p.m., a man assaulted a bouncer outside a bar. Derek James Bowler, 23, of Arlington, was charged with Assault and Battery and Drunk in Public. He was held on an unsecured bond of $2,500.
Sept. 18: Sexual Assault, 4200 block of Wilson Blvd. At 7p.m. an unknown man grabbed a woman’s breast while she was working at a store in the mall. The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 160 pounds with grey hair. He was wearing a grey button down shirt and grey slacks, and spoke with a German accent.
Sept. 20: Malicious Wounding, 4300 block of N. Henderson Road. At 8p.m., a man was involved in a fight, and was hit in the head by a beer bottle. He was injured and taken to the hospital. The suspect description is unknown.
